  • AUSCHWITZ - The basement of Block 11 was used by the Politische Abteilung (Camp Gestapo) as a prison for the camp resistance movement.
  • AUSCHWITZ - The Gas Chamber and Crematorium I in the Main Camp. Thousands of the camp victims perished here and their corpses were incinerated in the furnaces of the Crematorium.
  • AUSCHWITZ - The gate 'Arbeit Macht Frei' in the Main Camp. Prisoners passed it every day on the ay to work.
  • AUSCHWITZ - The Wall of Death was the execution site of thousands of prisoners, mainly members of the camp resistance movement as well as prisoners from the Gestapo prison in Katowice.
