It ran from Woolsthorpe Quarries - BR Denton Sidings - BR Casthorpe Sidings - Harlaxton Quarries, using 0-6-0T AJAX for haulage. Seen here between Denton exchange sidings and Woolsthorpe.

This ticket is to cover the English leg of the tour.   • RAIL TOUR - CALAIS-LILLE RAIL TOUR (2) - Run by the LCGB to take advantage of the fact that much traffic in north-western France was still steam hauled at this time. This ticket covers the French leg of the tour. For the exact route, refer to the route map. The rout followed was:-<br /> <br /> Calais Maritime - Boulogne Ville - Etaples - St Pol - Bethune - Don Sainghin - Lille - Hazebrouck - St Omer - Calais Ville - Calais Maritime.<br /> <br /> Locos used were:- 231G42 (Calais - Bethune), 242TA115 (Bethune - Lille), 141R189 (Lille - St Omer), 040D549 (St Omer - Calais).
