RAIL TOUR - 'SOUTH YORKSHIRE RAIL TOUR No.2' - Organised by the RCTs (Sheffield Branch) and run on June 7th, 1953, this tour explored some of South Yorkshire's lesser known railways. Seen here at the terminus of the Elsecar mineral line are Class D12 4-4-0 No.62667 SOMME of 40F Boston and Class J11 0-6-0 No.64374. The tour ran as follows:-
