BRITISH RAIL TOURS

Pictures in this gallery are of tickets for enthusiast rail tours of various sorts, including photographs, programmes, brochures and flyers where I have them. I have attempted to differentiate them into enthusiast specials and trains that were mere excursions of interest to the general public as well, probably not entirely successfully! These pictures are published for pleasure/information/research purposes only and are not for sale or copy under any circumstances. Information in captions has been researched as thoroughly as possible but its accuracy cannot be guaranteed.

RAIL TOUR - 'THE BONE IDOL' (8) - Hertfordshire Rail Tours ran this train on September 1st, 2002, to 'celebrate' the passing of the Class 58 loco's. Disgraceful. 58024 approaches Heckington on the return from Skegness. I took this shot so that I could get the distant signal in and almost mucked it up with the S&T box then!
