FENLAND CLASS 37

Included here are pictures all taken between Peterborough East Junction and Ely North Junction, all of the Queen Adelaide crossings included and the erstwhile Wisbech Branch. Some of the old 35mm slides from the '80's are a bit blurry but then those were the days of 65ASA film, 1/125th and Focus DIY. These are probably best looked at in large format.   • 37200 passes Manea Station on 8M43 Bury - Croft, 22/02/88.
  • 37200 passes through March Station with 8E15 Croft - Bury, 23/02/88.
  • 37203 trails 37114 as they head east through March Station on a Sandite train, 04/12/99. 37114 was withdrawn 12/04 whilst 37203 lasted until 01/05.
  • 37204 on March Depot, 23/02/88. Note large size numerals on bodyside.
  • 37212 is unusual power on 6M66 Broxbourne - Mountsorrel Redland S/D empties, running 6 hours late as it passes Badgeney Road LC, 29/01/98. I suspect the train loco had failed en route. This loco was withdrawn 04/99.
  • 37213 approaches Silt Road LC on 6L20 Toton Old Bank-Colchester Hythe housecoal, 08/88.
  • 37213 rolls towards Station Road LC with a lightly loaded 6M20 Colchester Hythe-Toton Old Bank coal empties, 08/88
  • 37214 approaches Silt Road LC on 6M09 Colchester Hythe - Toton coal empties, 04/89.
  • 37216 passes Queen Adelaide (Kings Lynn) AHB with 6H86 Kings Lynn - Whitemoor, 30/10/86.
  • 37216 powers away from March Station with a rake of loaded Seacows, 16/04/87.
  • 37218 and 47790 sandwich DRS coaches 5919 and 5971 on 5Z68 Crewe Holding Sidings to Norwich Crown Point as they pass Silt Road LC, 08/01/15. Is this new stock for the short set perhaps?
