FENLAND CLASS 66 (GBRF)

Included here are pictures all taken between Peterborough East Junction and Ely North Junction, all of the Queen Adelaide crossings included and the erstwhile Wisbech Branch. Some of the old 35mm slides from the '80's are a bit blurry but then those were the days of 65ASA film, 1/125th and Focus DIY. These are probably best looked at in large format. 66705 GOLDEN JUBILEE has just come out of March Up Yard on 4H06 thence to Peterborough passing Silt Road LC, 18/03/22. Yes, I know it's going the wrong way! For some reason, it must make sense to turn the whole train on Ely West Curve rather than shunt it over to the Down side yard.

  • 66705 GOLDEN JUBILEE/66707 SIR SAM FAY pass under the A141 Flyover on a rake of Mountsorrel - Whitemoor loaded JNA's, 20/04/07.
