FENLAND MISCELLANEOUS STOCK

Included here are pictures all taken between Peterborough East Junction and Ely North Junction, all of the Queen Adelaide crossings included and the erstwhile Wisbech Branch. Some of the old 35mm slides from the '80's are a bit blurry but then those were the days of 65ASA film, 1/125th and Focus DIY. These are probably best looked at in large format.   • Class 465 238 is in tow of 37800 CASSIOPEIA passing Whitemoor Drove AHB on 5Z46 Worksop Up Reception Sidings - Ely North Junction, the unit bound for storage, 16/12/21. This is a repeat of the same working yesterday with the same loco and 465 249.
  • Class 465 238, still wearing South Eastern branding, is in tow of 37800 CASSIOPEIA passing Whitemoor Drove AHB on 5Z46 Worksop Up Reception Sidings - Ely North Junction, the unit bound for storage, 16/12/21. This is a repeat of the same working yesterday with the same loco and 465 249.
  • Class 465 239 draws slowly into the Up Loop at March en route to Ely North Junction as 5Q46 from Worksop for storage, hauled by 57312, 09/02/22. By my calculations, that leaves only 465 241, 242 & 247 to come plus whatever Class 466's are destined for Ely.
