DUBLIN & SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY
In this gallery will be found the steam locomotives of the Dublin & South Eastern Railways and its antecedents. It started life as the Dublin & Wicklow Railway, absorbing the Dublin & Kingstown Railway in 1856. In 1860 it was renamed the Dublin, Waterford & Wexford Railway and in 1906 became the Dublin & South Eastern, ceasing to exist in 1925 when it became part of the Great Southern Railway. These pictures are published for pleasure/information/research purposes only and are not for sale or copy under any circumstances. Information in captions has been researched as thoroughly as possible but its accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
