GREAT SOUTHERN RAILWAY STEAM LOCOMOTIVES
None of these pictures was taken by me. The Great Southern Railway was formed by the Irish Free State in 1925 from all railway companies to be found wholly within the Free State. In 1945, it became Coras Iompair Eireann (CIE). These pictures are published for pleasure/information/research purposes only and are not for sale or copy under any circumstances. Information in captions has been researched as thoroughly as possible but its accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
