  • 82 - Class 80 DEMU - 9 sets built by BREL in 1974, 4x3-car, 5x2-car. supplemented by a further build of 12 sets in 1977/9. With the arrival of CAF-built Class 3000 units in 2008, all were withdrawn but six were retained and formed into 4 car units of 2 power cars and two trailers, trailers coupled inwards - seen here at Lisburn on the 1335 Portrush - Belfast on 18/08/93.
  • 86 - Class 80 DEMU - 9 sets built by BREL in 1974, 4x3-car, 5x2-car. supplemented by a further build of 12 sets in 1977/9.   • 108 - ex CIE No.B230, Metropolitan Vickers Class C Bo-Bo - 34 locos built in 1956/7 for CIE, re-engined by GM from 1969 and renumbered in B200 series, all withdrawn by mid-80's, 1986 to NIR as No.108, withdrawn 12/94, scrapped 08/97 - seen here at Whitehead, 05/90.
  • 111 - General Motors Class 111 Co-Co - NIR has 3 of these locos, identical to IE Class 071, mainly used for ballast duties and peak hour passenger trains. Recently renumbered to 8111, seen here at Dublin Connolly, 07/90.
