  • Railcar A - converted from a road bus in 1934 by GNR(I) and supplied to SLNCR to replace original Railcar A destroyed in collion at  Glenfarne in March 1939 - 1950 rebodied by GNR(I) at Dundalk Works - broken up in 1959 after closure of line - seen here at Manorhamilton after rebodying - note 2 tons luggage trailer.
  • Railcar A - converted from a road bus in 1934 by GNR(I) and supplied to SLNCR to replace original Railcar A destroyed in collision at  Glenfarne in March 1939 - 1950 rebodied by GNR(I) at Dundalk Works - broken up in 1959 after closure of line - note 2 tons luggage trailer - seen here at Enniskillen with a train for Sligo before 1950.

It was very popular and successful, costing only a fraction of what a steam loco cost to run - on closure in 1957, it was sold to CIE and renumbered No.2509, seeing use on crew training duties from 1964 and serving on the Nenagh branch in the early 1970's - seen here at Enniskillen, 05/57.
