97545 heads south through Huntingdon with departmental units 975089/975090 in tow, 05/05/89. This engine was 47545 until 09/88, was then renumbered to 97545 in the departmental number series and renumbered again to 47972 in 08/89, being withdrawn in 11/98. 975089 and 975090 were a Class 103 Park Royal DMU, previuosly numbered 50396/56162. They were withdrawn in January 1967 and passed into departmental stock at RTC in June 1970 as track recording cars. They served in this role until final withdrawal in March 1990.
