SECOND GENERATION ELECTRIC MULTIPLE UNITS (AC)

Included in this gallery are units that are both AC and DC but all are shown operating in AC mode. These are Second Generation EMU's, that is units built from the 1970's to 2000. Pictures taken all over the British railway network in the last 30 years or so. Some of the old 35mm slides are a bit blurry but then those were the days of 65ASA film, 1/125th and Focus DIY. These pictures are displayed for information/research purposes only and are not for sale under any circumstances. Every effort has been made to verify the information in the captions but its accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
