THE END OF THE LINE - VALHALLA!

I have created this gallery to include those locomotives and otherwise that are actually in the process of being cut-up, dismantled or scrapped as opposed to being the victims of accidents, which of course they may have been originally, but mainly the disposal of redundant stock. Others may be of engines awaiting their fate in scrapyards. And, as an afterthought I have decided to include pictures of locomotives employed therein, many of which eventually fell under the cutter's torch in that same yard.
These pictures are published for pleasure/information/research purposes only and are not for sale or copy under any circumstances. Information in captions has been researched as thoroughly as possible but its accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
