OPEN DAY - TOTON DIESEL DEPOT, 1970 - I never found Toton a difficult depot to get round, as long as you weren't too obvious about what you were doing. Light summer evening seemed to be good time to have a go. I can find no details of what locos were present at this event except for D411 and D7521. As 50011, this was the first Class 50 to be withdrawn in February 1987. D7521 was the supposed accident victim in a re-railing demonstration by Toton's 75-ton steam crane.
